Dome's self-developed Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE) achieved stable detonation initiation and sustained operation in ground bench testing. The detonation wave propagated stably at the design speed, and key measured parameters agreed well with simulation results.
This successful ignition marks substantial validation progress for Phase Two propulsion. The next stage will focus on combustion stability optimization and thrust modulation validation.
