Dome Aerospace has closed a new funding round. Proceeds will mainly support three areas: QiongYue D1 airworthiness certification, production line construction, and accelerated test verification.
Where the Funding Goes
Airworthiness certification is the regulatory gateway for crewed eVTOL commercial delivery — certification progress means continuously supplying test and verification data to the authorities. Production line construction focuses on carbon-fiber airframe molding and the final assembly flow line; accelerated test verification covers tethered flight, free flight, and whole-aircraft parachute campaigns.
Production Capability Is the Dividing Line
Dome stated that production capability is the dividing line between engineering companies and concept companies. Judging an eVTOL company is not about video view counts, but about the conversion rate from drawings to parts, and from parts to deliveries. This round will further strengthen engineering and delivery capacity.
